Description
***Doggy Afternoon Tea***
The Egerton House Hotel is a five-star boutique hotel in Knightsbridge known for its sumptuous interiors and exceptional hospitality – and it famously offers a Doggy Afternoon Tea for pampered pups. In the hotel’s elegant drawing room, a refined space with ivory-colored walls, plush armchairs and classic decor, pet owners can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea while their dogs get a special spread of their own.
The atmosphere is decidedly upscale and tranquil (think fine china and oil paintings), yet dogs are not just allowed but fussed over by the staff.
The Doggy Afternoon Tea menu includes treats like chicken and beef meatloaf, house-baked dog biscuits, and even a scoop of dog-safe ice cream, all served in a three-tier silver tray of bowls.
Your pup can wash it down with “Pawsecco” (pet-friendly herbal drink) or non-alcoholic dog beer, so you can toast in style.
It’s a uniquely London indulgence that combines British tradition with canine luxury, set in a cozy hotel tea lounge where tail-waggers are treated as VIPs (Very Important Pets).

Special Offers
Dogs of all sizes are welcome throughout Egerton House’s public areas – unlike many “pet-friendly” hotels, this one truly allows pets in the lounges and bars.
For the Afternoon Tea specifically, they host it on certain days (currently Thursdays and Sundays) and allow one dog per table to ensure a calm experience.
Non-guests can book the Doggy Tea by reservation. Cats are technically allowed in rooms, but the afternoon tea is really tailored to dogs.
