CuppaPug is London’s first pug café – an utterly adorable, one-of-a-kind experience in East London where you can sip drinks in a room full of friendly pugs. The café is set in a converted railway arch in Hackney, decked out in bright pink decor and equipped with a safe play pen for the resident pugs.

When you book a session at CuppaPug, you’ll spend an hour cuddling and playing with their family of squish-faced superstar pugs (meet Gizmo, Gaston, Gunn, and friends).

The vibe is fun, quirky, and lighthearted – essentially a “puppy party” atmosphere. Drinks and snacks are all pug-themed: think pug-shaped cookies, “puggaccinos,” and pink pug-inspired milkshakes.

They even host special “Puppy Days” where guests can meet and play with pug puppies or Frenchie pups from a partner rescue.

It’s important to note CuppaPug is more of an interactive pet lounge than a traditional café – it’s all about the experience of being surrounded by lovable pugs in a cheerful setting. For dog lovers (especially pug aficionados), it’s pure heaven and guaranteed to put a huge smile on your face.

NOTE: This is a dogs-on-premises establishment (the resident pugs live here). For health and safety, visiting patrons do not bring their own dogs. Instead, you come to interact with the café’s pugs. (If you have your own dog, check their policy – occasionally they host special events where outside small dogs are invited, but generally your pet should stay home so the resident pups aren’t overwhelmed.)
